Sustainability Report | October 19th, 2023

In this week's report, we deep dive into the EPA's recently finalized forever chemicals rule. Any organization that manufactures or imports PFAS will be required to report comprehensive data to the EPA within the next 18 months. Otherwise in DC, we expect to see several big decisions from the Administration by the end of the year, including the release of the SEC Climate Disclosure Rule. Meanwhile, Congress will be narrowly focused on funding measures that need to be passed over the next several weeks.

Furthermore, there are several engagement opportunities from federal agencies, including a new RFI from GSA and DOE on the Green Proving Ground Program and grant applications for electric transmission. Lastly, the Senate EPW Committee held a hearing yesterday on Clean Water Act protections.
