Check out the latest Outdoor Report from Brumidi Group! The Military Veterans in Parks (MVP) Act was introduced in the House, creating two pilot programs – one to build adaptive trails to provide more recreation access for veterans and the broader disability community, and another to increase hiring of veterans in land management agencies. Additionally, we highlight the Senate Small Business Committee's recent hearing on the outdoor recreation economy. Furthermore, the Bureau of Land Management recently announced that they would use $9 million in IRA funding to hire outdoor recreation staff, while the Department of the Interior announced $21.9 million in funding through the Outdoor Legacy Partnership Program.

Lastly, it is looking increasingly likely that the Farm Bill will be extended for one year, due to ongoing differences between the House and Senate on their priorities for reauthorization.
