Congress is passing the first tranche of FY24 spending bills, which notably includes the Interior-Environment, Agriculture, and Transportation spending measures. The legislation already passed the House by a bipartisan vote of 339-85 yesterday and the Senate is slated to pass the bill today.

Furthermore, the Department of the Interior announced two substantial funding opportunities for the outdoors - $195 million in IRA funding for climate resilience and $119 million in America the Beautiful funding for conservation and restoration projects. Separately, Minnesota has now officially launched a new Office of Outdoor Recreation.
