The House Natural Resources Committee convened a hearing on legislation that will eventually be incorporated into an outdoor recreation package, building on momentum kickstarted by the introduction of the America's Outdoor Recreation Act in the Senate. Separately, DoD and DOI have launched a joint initiative focused on enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities, while other Biden administration leaders have been appearing before Capitol Hill to testify regarding their FY 2024 budget requests.
