Outdoor Report | July 20th, 2023

It’s been a busy two weeks in outdoor-related committee activity. The House Natural Resources Committee convened a legislative hearing on several pieces of legislation today, which included a draft version of the Military & Veterans in Parks (MVP) Act. Additionally, the Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee convened a legislative hearing focused on conservation bills. Lastly, the House Appropriations Committee considered their FY2024 Interior-Environment bill, which included a number of investments and policy priorities to combat wildfires.
