With this being the last week of August recess, it was a lighter week in cybersecurity policy but there were still several notable actions. First, the Five Eye nations published a report on a new threat posed by Russian malware. Furthermore, NIST released their latest publication focused on bolstering software supply chain security. And lastly, House Homeland Security Committee Cyber Subcommittee Chairman Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) sent a letter to CISA with his concerns surrounding CISA's involvement with cyber efforts at the Department of Energy.
