Cyber Report: June 9th, 2023

While policymakers are now largely focused on a path forward for FY24 spending with the new boundaries set by the debt ceiling deal, there was movement on several different areas related to cybersecurity. CISA published a new report on remote access software, Senator Hawley unveiled a guiding set of principles on AI regulation, CSC 2.0 published recommendations on critical infrastructure cybersecurity, and HSGAC is set to clear three cyber-related bills next week.
