This week, while all eyes in DC were focused on the debt ceiling, there were still several notable activities relevant to cybersecurity. There are ongoing efforts from Congress to encourage the nomination of a permanent National Cyber Director, the Department of Defense is moving forward with their 2023 National Cybersecurity Strategy, and NIST provided a full report on their cybersecurity efforts over this past year.
