BG3: September 25th - 29th

This week, most of the focus around Capitol Hill has been focused on concerns surrounding federal funding and a potential government shutdown. Current funding is set to lapse tomorrow at midnight, and it seems likely that the government is going to enter a shutdown. With less than 36 hours to find a solution, agencies have been told to prepare for the shutdown and to publish updated plans on what they plan to do.

Furthermore, there was sad news in the Senate today with the news of Senator Feinstein's passing. Senator Feinstein leaves a strong legacy, with 30 years in the Senate and as California's first female U.S. senator.
