BG Week in Review: September 4th - 8th

This week, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced that they would further extend the exclusions currently in place for goods related to the China Section 301 investigation until December 31st, 2023. Furthermore, there was movement in two important primary races - the Republican primary for Utah's 2nd congressional district and the Democratic primary for Rhode Island's 1st congressional district. Lastly, the Senate confirmed a Democratic commissioner for the FCC, which officially created a Democratic majority on the FCC and filled out all of the seats for the first time during the Biden administration.
