Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) brought the bipartisan immigration bill to the floor, but the procedural vote to advance the bill failed by a vote of 49-50.
Lastly, House Republicans launched appropriations work for Fiscal Year 2025 - passing interim budget allocations and outlining an aggressive plan to pass all 12 spending bills before the August recess.
